Winter Celebration at the NY Wine and Culinary Center

winter wedding at the NY Wine and Culinary CenterMarch weddings are always so lucky for me. Each time, we have been blessed with warm weather and outdoor portraits! This winter wedding could have been so snowy, yet Ashley and Chase had the perfect weather for their intimate affair at NY’s Wine and Culinary Center in the Finger Lakes. This was a very special way for me to kick off the 2015 wedding season, as I’ve known Ashley and her family since 2007 when I photographed her sister’s wedding.

In 2010, their dad completely remodeled my bathroom and installed my tankless hot water heater. Then, in 2012, Ashley referred me to Jessica & Trevor and I photographed their winter wedding!

Last year, I went running with Ashley and she talked about signing up to be a foster parent because she was ready for love in her life. She was tired of waiting for it to happen and had a lot of love to give. So, when I got the call that she was getting married, it was like BOOM…. boy did the universe provide! Not only has she been fostering a child since then, she also found the love of her life! No one is more deserving of all of this love. She is a gorgeous woman both inside and out. I mean it when I say that it was an absolute honor to be able to capture their NY wedding reception in the Finger Lakes.

Check out their actual wedding ceremony out in Salt Lake City, by Photographer Lindsay Salazar here.

As you can see, these two just crack each other up and laugh constantly!

So, this wonderful little party was a lot of fun and had a few celebrities in attendance, like one of my upcoming wedding couples, Stacey & Nick (coming this Fall!) and also our NY Senator Joe Robach!

Unfortunately, Ashley’s sisters couldn’t attend and I was bummed to not get to see Heather and Brad and their brand new baby. However it was lovely to see the Pallos again and be there for Ashley and Chase!
