Vintage Film Portrait Friday: Historic Houseparts

Vintage Film Portrait Friday: Christine Jones of Historic Houseparts! If you look very carefully… you will see the owner, Chris Jones in the doorway. This was taken on my ‘new’ Mamiya RB67 film camera… purchased from the lovely and amazing Chris Jones.

Rochester Architectural Photography and Historic Houseparts
We were having a beer at the Tap and Mallet, discussing photography for The South Wedge Quarterly magazine and I mentioned that I was in the market for a Mamiya, medium format film camera…. she said “I have that camera and want to sell it!”

The rest, as they say, is history. I felt it fitting to capture her business on said camera as a thanks. If you live in Rochester and have not been to Historic Houseparts, please go. Give yourself lots of time to look at every little thing. From mustache wax to antique pocket doors, there is a lot to see and purchase.

Thanks for the camera, Chris! I love it!

Fun Fact: Chris is the driving force behind the Real Beer Expo, BASWA’s Swedge Shop, The South Wedge Quarterly Magazine and many other amazing things happening in the South Wedge Neighborhood!
