What a perfect wedding for this beautiful long-time couple… Ann & Pat have been together for nearly a decade and have finally made it official in front of their closest friends and family! With each of their sons present, it was a special day.
The Ceremony was at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Fairport with the wedding reception being held at a private house rental on Lake Ontario. We really lucked out on this humid day, as it rained only during the ceremony!
Since Fairport is where the couple spends all of their time, we used the canal for bridal party photos. This was my first time photographing an Autistic child, which was a challenge and also very fun/rewarding at the same time. Bryce was a trooper and though he tried to hide, we got many great photographs of him anyway!
All I really wanted to capture was this beautiful moment right here:
We were a little behind schedule, so once we arrived to the lake house, Pat & Ann hopped into my car and we scooted on over to Braddock Bay Park for Bride and Groom photos. The lake never disappoints… we found swans and peace with a secluded spot just for us. Getting a little ‘alone time’ for the couple to enjoy together is one of my main goals at each wedding, as the day is such a whirl wind.
By the evening, the air was clear and the breeze flowing. We even had a rainbow appear right above the couple as they cut their wedding cake!! (very faint in this photo below, but it’s there)
We all watched the rolling and dynamic clouds over Lake Ontario and rejoiced that we were in a bubble that did not have a thunderstorm. I call it my ‘sunny day guarantee’!
As you can see, it was lovely. Just lovely. Ann and Pat have such great love and humor with each other. Every time they kissed, they thanked each other! LOVE IT!
It was my pleasure to spend the day with them and enjoy their amazing friends and unique families.
