Elizabeth & Tony had a beautiful, intimate and simple wedding at Durand Eastman Park’s Jack’s Place on a chilly and damp April day.
There was the threat of rain, however we completely lucked out and missed all of the showers on Saturday. This laid way for a smooth and relaxing wedding day. Elizabeth and Tony had their “first look” ahead of the ceremony and this allowed us to capture all of the formal family portraits before the wedding. I love love love “first looks” because it also allows for a much more intimate and emotional moment for the couple.
What I enjoyed the most about the day was catching these little looks on Tony’s face…. little looks of admiration and awe towards Elizabeth. Such a sweet and gentle love.
This was my first time photographing a wedding at Jack’s Place and I have to say that I was really impressed. The staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious. I also love a place that always has a wedding tent in place in case of rain (plus outdoor heaters!). Elizabeth did an outstanding job getting everything just right for their wedding and everything looked perfect.
Congratulations Tony & Elizabeth!
See for yourself the beauty and love present this weekend at my first 2014 wedding… Special thanks and shout out to Loni for helping me get all of the boutonnieres and corsages attached! You were a great help all day!
