Rochester Wedding at the Hyatt with Steven & Megan
Add a large family-filled Bridal Party to a vibrant couple to all the top Rochester wedding professionals to the very modern Hyatt Regency in downtown Rochester and we have a recipe for some amazing and fun wedding pictures!
This wedding was my largest and longest of the year and kicks off 3 intense and action packed weeks. Lucky for me, Megan and Steven were rock stars and their family and bridal party were very well behaved.
From the first moment I stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a schedule that was meticulously planned to have a lot of room for exploration and discovery.
Many thanks to the wonderful Roger, from Eastside Church, who gave a sweet, succinct and touching ceremony for Megan and Steven. He has a calming influence and really made the service special. It was a nice treat to be treated with so much respect for my profession and opinions.
A very special thank you to my second photographer, Lori, my assistant, Alan, and the wedding coordinator at the Hyatt, Chet. This was one wedding where I could sit back and truly be the photojournalistic documentarian that I strive to be. Not only was I able to capture some of my very favorite bridal party pictures ever, I also created wonderful ‘band photo’ images of Megan and her 5 siblings! This is something I am envious of and wish I had of my own siblings.
After many years in the industry, it was a special treat to be able to photograph a wedding that my friends, Philip and Tracy, were attending! Philip made the amazing wedding cake and is co-owner of Premier Pastry and Tracy is the one who told Megan about my work. Thank you Tracy!! You rock!
