This weekend was a warm and humid weekend, yet Jennifer and Eric’s wedding days (yes, plural weddings!) went so smoothly and were so relaxing. Eric and Jennifer were married on Saturday at Pittsford’s St. Louis Church in an intimate and small wedding ceremony and then they redid the deed on Sunday at the Plantation Party House in front of a larger crowd.
We started Sunday with the ladies getting ready at one of the Bridesmaid’s house in Pittsford and the girls were really relaxed and jamming out to Journey and Guns N Roses. It was hard to leave and head over to see the guys at the Best Man’s house in Greece. Luckily, there were two cute Pugs to welcome us in the door and the guys were just arriving with lunch. We all avoided the inevitable (heading out into the bright summer sun and hot muggy air) to head to the Plantation Party House for the afternoon wedding ceremony.
The ceremony went like clockwork and thankfully for the attendees, Jennifer thought enough to leave custom folding fans on each chair and have lemon water at the ceremony location! The ceremony was also short and sweet, with Eric and Jennifer writing their own vows.
Since I took all of the formal family portraits on Saturday, all we had to do was gather the Bridal Party for some fun portraits near the pond. The rest, as they say, is history…. and here are the pictures to prove it…
The Plantation Party House has so many little nooks and spaces to escape and get a variety of unique Bride and Groom portraits.
It is one location where it is easy to sneak away from they guests for some intimate moments…
Jennifer and Eric, thank you so much for having me capture your vibrant personalities, lovely families and rock star Bridal Party! It was a great weekend and an honor to be your documentarian. Have a safe and relaxing honeymoon in Hawaii!
