Oh, my goodness! Megan and Steven have done it again! They welcome their second little girl into our hearts this month with little baby Evelynn. As usual, we captured this fleeting moment in time in their home so mommy and daddy could rest properly. Added bonus was also so Sydney could be easily distracted when needed to keep the newborn photos moving along smoothly. Awe, this little sweetness just stole my heart!
Sydney is figuring out this ‘big sister’ gig and I can’t wait to see their relationship develop. Megan found these super cute leotard and tutu outfits for their family portraits and they were sooooooooo perfect!
Megan’s Mom has been making fun of us because I’ve done their holiday cards since the wedding, averaging several per year. Last year, we made a limited edition of Thanksgiving cards just for their immediate family and her Mom said: “What’s next??? A Groundhog day card??!!”
I DIED laughing when Megan told me this, so we plotted and planned and actually MADE a Groundhog’s Day card just for her Mom. hahahahahahaha…. and she loved it!
Here are some other family photo holiday cards that we have created together:
Do you know someone having a baby and needing newborn photos?
I always recommend that new parents register with their favorite family photographer for newborn photos! You can buy gift certificates from nearly all of us and it is a gift that will last much longer than a cute item of clothing. New Moms are usually out of work and most families want these fleeting moments captured professionally. Check out my link to photography gift certificates for the growing family in your life. The new parents will LOVE not having to find a newborn family photographer for their new baby. It is a thoughtful and unique baby shower gift idea.
