Taylor and Nicole are adorable. These two had the perfect Fall wedding at a private residence on Canandaigua Lake. It was small, intimate wedding with just the closest of friends and family. Their friend, Peter, even performed the ceremony!
Nicole was so stunning in her Essence of Australia gown from Silk Bridal and the vintage fur shrug from Taylor’s Grandmother! Not to be outdone, the flowers…. Sassafras knocked it out of the park with a gorgeous bouquet that had Nicole saying over and over: ” I looooooove my flowers!”
Fun fact: Taylor told me that he used to do some modeling when he was a kid! No wonder he was such a natural in front of the camera!
It was a crisp Fall day, but with fires blazing in the fireplaces, everything was as warm as the love between them. There were tears, laughs and lots and lots of hugs.
Oh, and my ‘sunny day guarantee’ struck again! It called for rain all week, however when the day came, it was chilly but beautiful. Luckily, Nicole took my advice and rented a few outdoor heaters. Those certainly came in handy and everyone was huddled around them while outside!
Once inside, we all mingled and enjoyed the unspeakably tasty catering from Orange Glory and desserts from Scratch Bakeshop! Yes, please!
The wedding was a small, intimate and lovely from start to finish.
A very special Thank You to Jason Weiland for being on hand all day to keep everyone’s hair in check! I felt like I was on a styled shoot with your attention to detail and quick draw with the hairspray and veil. thank you thank you!
Interesting turn of events: When I was finished for the evening and already packed up, I snuck around the building for a few cool night photos before I left. Low and behold, I caught the Bride and Groom beginning their first dance and then the cake cutting!!
It was wonderful to accidentally take a unique angle, like I would if I intentionally tried to bring my Fearless Photographer A Game!! What a great added bonus for them, since they thought I was already gone. It was a total paparazzi move!
Fun fact: It turns out that Nicole and Taylor live right next to one of my wedding photographer friends!
