Pre-Wedding Activity: How to Prepare for an Engagement Photos with your Photographer
There are no rules when it comes to celebrating weddings, in fact, the skies the limit. But many opt for a pre-wedding photo shoot in order to showcase the couple’s personality and of course, it also serves as an important part of any wedding celebration and you can use the images for Save the Date cards or a custom Guestbook. Some people are nitpicky about all the little details of their wedding from the flowers, food and the guest list. However, it’s also important to talk to your photographer about the Engagement Session Experience because this will involve teamwork not only from the couple, but also with the photographer.
Remember that everyone has a role to play in order to get stunning photos that every couple can cherish for eons, and inspire generations of grandkids. There are also some fresh new ideas from Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine that couples can consult with or any number of blogs.
If the couple already has a theme, there are some images online that can be used for brainstorming or better yet, tap into your creative juices and do some of your own styling. Hiring a stylist can be helpful, but with the interesting choices from Marks and Spencer, it’s now easy to color coordinate the clothes for the husband to be. Accessories also play a key role here and just keep it to a bare minimum by using tasteful stud earrings or a solid statement piece because the engagement ring is the star of the show. For the adventurous types, they can experiment with costumes and just have fun with it.
Logistics are also pivotal when it comes to planning any photo shoot. After having discussed the date and time of the shoot itself, the photographer and the couple can scout some locations. My preferred option is to go to a place that has meaning for the couple.
Looking for a really cool place to do an Engagement Session or post-wedding photo shoot? Why not hire a local Photographer on in your Honeymoon location or other vacation spot? Ireland is by no means short of splendid, majestic castles and will provide a scenic backdrop for the shoot. The most popular spots are Lough Rynn Castle in Mohill, Solis Lough Eske Castle in Donegal and Carton House in Maynooth where many couples celebrate the perfect fairytale wedding.
