“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.” – John Muir
Happy Earth Day from New York State’s only Certified Green Photographer. Though I try to be mindful each day of the year, it is nice to have a reason to rethink and re-motivate on a special day every year.
Is there anything specific this Earth Day that you are doing to reduce your carbon footprint? I’m always looking for new tips/ideas. There are so many ways we can celebrate a Happy Earth Day, from recycling more, eating less meat, and walking/biking to run errands.
Over here at MP, I’m planting veggies in my yard. With all of the yard maintenance and watering, it seems like a waste unless it produces something useful, right? Another Earth Day task is to install more rain barrels; one on each downspout.
I’m also trying to convert my grass to clover since clover is hearty, pushes out other weeds and doesn’t need much mowing/watering. These fine folks are helping me transition: Callahan + LeBleu Landscapes.
