When Cassie was ready, she went outside to see her Father for the first time as a Bride. There were lots of tears with his youngest child and then we all headed straight to the Cathedral for the wedding ceremony.
Cassie’s brother Mike did the honors of escorting Cassie down the aisle to their parents so they could give Catherine away. Yes, more tears were shed and not just from Tim.
Catherine looked like a glamorous Hollywood movie star in her Vera Wang wedding gown and Louboutin shoes. Oh, don’t worry….. Tim was also wearing Christian Louboutin shoes!
After the ceremony, Cassie and Tim headed outside to see her kindergarten class and share an ice cream cone with the little ones. It was adorable to say the least. The Bridal Party got in on the action while I was photographing the family portraits. I missed out!
As my readers and fans know, I prefer to capture images at places with meaning to my couples and that brought us over to one of Tim’s favorite places and a date night location where my favorite beverage is served: Lucky Day Whiskey Bar on Pearl Street.
The staff was gracious enough to let us take over the place and imbibe in Buffalo’s finest bar. This was a perfect spot for more Bridal Party photos and fit with the glamorous Buffalo wedding venues that surrounded Catherine and Tim‘s wedding day.
After a few minutes of formal portraits on the grounds of the Park Country Club golf course, we headed inside for their glamorous wedding reception in the ballroom.
Even more tears were shed during the toasts, then the cake was cut and we danced all night.
Well, that last part is a tiny lie, as it was really hard to steal away from the multiple flavors of wedding cake and the gorgeous evening outdoors in order to make it to the dance floor…
I left with the s’mores station being put out for the revelers and Cassie saying “I want to give you a photo that will make it on your website!” and she shoved a s’more into her mouth. The rest, as they say, is history!
