Buffalo royalty hanging out on the blog today! Jacqueline and Austin had a wonderful and gorgeous Buffalo Wedding at the Our Lady of Victory Basilica with the reception Beaver Hollow Conference Center, which is owned by Jacqueline’s family! We began the day, super early, at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Buffalo, where the ladies got ready in custom pink rompers, drinking champagne and the guys had breakfast and laughs in Austin’s room.
The wedding ceremony was held in the stunning Our Lady of Victory Basilica in Lackawanna. What a gorgeous building. The setting was just magnificent and the ceremony was beautiful and touching, with one of Jacqueline’s Uncles performing part of the ceremony.
With zero time to spare, the happy couple did a grand exit to rose petals and then hit the road to Beaver Hollow in Java Center, where we reconvened for Bridal Party photos and romantic Bride and Groom pictures all over the grounds.
We even got Lily, the family dog, in on the formal portrait action! She is so cute!
Yes, those are Buffalo Bills socks! Which was fitting because one of the Gronkowskis was a Groomsman! Fun fact, the Groom’s brother Dylan is also in pro sports, he plays hockey for Tampa Bay Lightning.
A very special Thank You to Rochester photographer Andrew Welsh for spending this very long day with us as the second photographer and for taking a cool Polaroid picture for Jacqueline and Austin! So cool. I loved working with you on this epic Buffalo wedding!
We had such a perfect day, that it literally only rained on one side of the pavilion and we got a killer rainbow too! I tell ya, it was my ‘sunny day guarantee’. I’m always in a bubble of sun on the radar!
The day just went on and on and on, yet everyone was easily entertained and had a blast. From the amazing catering by the staff at Beaver Hollow, to the custom corn hole game, to the gorgeous grounds and gardens, we all had plenty to keep us occupied until the dance floor opened.
Congratulations to the happy couple! Austin and Jacqueline, you two are the most fun, romantic and loving couple out there. It is such a treat to see a Groom who is old-school in his love and treatment of his lady… giving both tears and also a lot of “woohoo”s all day long. Thank you so much for finding me and having me as your documentarian. I loved seeing how you two have fun together and meeting all of your friendly and lovely family. Though it was the longest wedding day I’ve ever had, it was a heck of a great ride! Congrats again!
