Anthony and Lizz held a beautiful and classy Buffalo wedding at Babeville and St. Louis Catholic Church and it was my honor to be their wedding photographer for their wedding day.
How is it that I consistently get the perfect clients for me? Oh, wait, I know… I only show images that really speak to me (not what I’m supposed to show). Elisabeth found me through my Adirondack wedding last year (with Liz & Greg!) and fell in LOVE with this image:
This, in turn, made me immediately want to document her wedding to Anthony. That, and the fact that the reception was being held at Asbury Hall. As a fan of musician Ani DiFranco‘s since the early 1990’s (yes, I’m that old), I had been dying to work here since it was renovated. It is a breathtaking and a cool venue.
Anthony and Elisabeth had a really relaxed and fun day on Saturday. So relaxed, their “First Look” was reversed (Anthony went and found Lizz)…
So relaxed, I had to force them to do about 15 minutes worth of family portraits… So relaxed, that the ‘bridal party photos’ literally consisted of us walking from the church to the reception down Delaware Ave…
So relaxed, that the Father/Daughter dance consisted of Lizz’s entire family busting a move together!
There are no words to describe how wonderful all of the people in attendance were to work with. I’ll let the images below give you an idea. From the really fun groomsmen to the helpful and gorgeous bridesmaids, it was the perfect day.
Special thanks to Liz & Greg for sending Elisabeth and Anthony my way! I loved loved loved this Buffalo wedding at Babeville and both families were funny and gracious.
