Vintage Film Portrait Friday: While my Sister Grace was visiting from TX, Katie and I planned a little play date for our Moms and Gracie…. a Bramble berry Luncheon at Hurd Orchards fruit farm in Holley, NY (and my favorite wedding location!).
So, Katie brought her Mom, and I brought mine + Grace. We put on our best sundresses and enjoyed the feast. My Mamiya film camera came along to capture the gorgeous and tasty day.
We picked this particular luncheon because we didn’t even know what a Bramble berry was. Knowing how awesome Hurd Orchards is though, we thought it must be amazing regardless. We were correct.
So, it turns out that a Bramble berry is any berry that grows in a bramble… or prickly shrub. Like a blackberry…. Read all about Brambles right here.
Hurd Orchards is so unique and so magical. As a full-time working farm, everything they do they do from the love of the earth that gives so much. From the fresh, local flowers to the beautiful and delicious food that is all grown on site. The decor in the hundred year old barn is all designed on site and changes regularly. It sets the scene for a beautiful rustic environment for weddings, luncheons, brunches and other small events.
